General Code of Conduct
This code of conduct outlines our expectations for all participants in our events and community social media, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, identity, age, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion.
Treat other attendees, vendors, artists, staff, and guests with respect and courtesy.
No unauthorized solicitation, surveys, or distribution of unauthorized materials. Authorized materials and solicitation are at the discretion of the Fellowship of Fandom, LLC Leadership Team.
Accessibility
· The AllStar Convention hall is ADA friendly, and small personal mobility devices are welcome.
· Side-by-side strollers are strongly discouraged due to safety concerns.
Attendee Badges
· All Sales Are Final: Tickets are typically non-refundable unless the event is canceled.
· Unauthorized resale or duplication of tickets may result in cancellation without refund.
· Chargeback Consequences: Disputing a ticket charge without valid cause may be considered a breach of policy. Fellowship of Fandom, LLC may pursue legal action or ban future purchases.
Dress code
· This is a family event, and attire should reflect a family-friendly atmosphere. No nudity or overly revealing outfits. Think PG-13.
· Nipples for all genders should be covered.
· No thongs allowed, bottoms must cover where a modest bikini bottom would cover.
· Shoes are required at all times for safety purposes. Flip-flops or slides are acceptable.
Cosplay & Props
· Family-friendly attire: No nudity or overly revealing outfits. Think PG-13.
· No real weapons: Prop weapons must be fake and often need to be peace-bonded and inspected by staff for admittance into the convention. No live steel or functional weapons. If you are unsure whether your prop is acceptable, please ask.
· No messy materials: Confetti, unattached glitter, or anything that could create a breathing or trip hazard.
· Avoid hazardous designs: Costumes with sharp edges, large wings, or unstable parts may be restricting for safety reasons.
· Always ask first: Never take someone’s photo without permission—even if they’re posing.
· Respect downtime: Don’t interrupt cosplayers who are eating, resting, or fixing their costume.
· No touching without consent: Costumes are often delicate, and personal space is key. Cosplay does not mean consent to touching.
· Positive interactions only: Compliment, don’t critique. Harassment or inappropriate comments are never okay.
· Respectful carried signage: No obscene, racial, or inflammatory messages will be allowed.
Force Majeure
Unforeseen Circumstances: Events disrupted by natural disasters, government regulations, alien invasion, or other uncontrollable events may be canceled without refund.
Grievances
If you feel you have been falsely or unfairly accused of violating this Code of Conduct, you should notify the Fellowship of Fandom, LLC Leadership Team either in person or contact us at contact@fellowshipoffandom.com with a detailed description of your grievance. Your grievance will be handled in accordance with our existing governing policies.
Service Animals
· Service animals are welcome, but pets are prohibited. Service animals must be on a leash and wearing gear denoting that the animal is a service animal. Documentation should be available if asked for.
· Service animals must be cared for by the owner or related parties, which includes feeding, water, and bathroom issues.
· All Service animal messes will be thoroughly cleaned up by and are the responsibility of the owner or related parties.
· Fellowship of Fandom, LLC. takes no responsibility for the care or damage from or to the service animal. All service animal responsibility falls solely on the owner and related parties.
· Should a service animal injure an attendee, volunteer, writer, artist, guest, or other while attending the Convention, the responsible animal and immediate party will immediately be asked to quarantine the animal within a back office until a member of law enforcement arrives and the affected person is examined by a healthcare professional. Any consequences due to the service animal’s actions will be the responsibility of the owner and related parties.
· Likewise if a service animal should cause damage to the AllStar Sports Complex, LLC. building and/or property, the responsible animal and immediate party will immediately be asked to quarantine the animal within a back office until a member of law enforcement arrives. Any consequences due to the service animal’s actions will be the responsibility of the owner and related parties and will be decided by AllStar Sports Complex, LLC. and/or Law Enforcement.
· No animal abuse will be tolerated.
Unacceptable Conduct
The following is a list of unacceptable behavior, including, but not limited to:
· Yelling, fighting, running, or using offensive language.
· Disruptive behavior
· Harassment
· Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed at or against another person.
· Discriminatory jokes and language.
· Posting or displaying sexually explicit or violent material.
· Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information ("doxing").
· Public inebriation and/or intoxication.
· Non-consensual photography or recording.
· Non-consensual physical contact. You must have someone’s consent before touching them.
· Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes: sexualized comments or jokes, inappropriate touching, groping, and unwelcomed sexual advances.
· Sustained disruption of community events, including talks and presentations at conventions.
· Continuing to engage in such behavior after you have been asked to stop.
· Anything illegal in the community is also illegal at our events.
If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior or have any other concerns, please notify a member of the Fellowship of Fandom staff as soon as possible.
Violations of our Code of Conduct may result in the following, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation. Fellowship of Fandom, LLC., may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from participation, without warning and without refund in the case of a paid event. Decisions will be made and enforced by the Fellowship of Fandom, LLC Leadership team:
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated from any volunteer, attendee, participant, sponsor, vendor, contractor, partner, or guest. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If any volunteer, attendee, participant, sponsor, vendor, contractor, partner, or guest engages in unacceptable behavior, Fellowship of Fandom, LLC. may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from participation, without warning and without refund in the case of a paid event.
· A private discussion of behavior with the appropriate parties.
· Forcible ejection from the event without refund.
· Revocation of future attendance of Fellowship of Fandom, LLC events.
Scope
We expect all community participants (contributors, attendees, contractors, vendors, artists, writers, volunteers, etc) to abide by this Code of Conduct in all community venues–online and in-person–as well as in all one-on-one communications pertaining to Fellowship of Fandom, LLC. business.
Limitations: Illegal Code of Conduct violations occurring outside of official event or online spaces cannot be enforced by Fellowship of Fandom, LLC; situations of this nature might require engagement of law enforcement by the individual. Examples include, but are not limited to: stalking, drugs, weapons, and assault (sexual or otherwise).
Volunteers
All volunteers for Fellowship of Fandom, LLC. you are expected and required to conduct yourself in a professional and business-appropriate manner at all times while representing the organization. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Violations of Fellowship of Fandom, LLC. policies or the code of conduct will be considered grounds for possible and immediate dismissal.
